Viorica
Viorica is an aromatic white grape variety indigenous to Moldova.
This variety is a cross between two red grape varieties, Seibel 13-666 and the Italian Aleatico.
It is typically straw-colored and has a white floral aroma characteristic of Muscat varieties (jasmine, acacia, linden).
Commonly cited flavors include grapefruit, lychee, guava, mango, and basil.
Due to being a hybrid variety, its cultivation is highly likely to be banned if Moldova joins the EU.
