2012. The Cabernet Sauvignon from this year was so exceptional that Mihai Banita, the winery director, decided not to age it in oak barrels. Instead, it was slowly matured in stainless steel tanks for four years, and then bottled and aged meticulously for another two years in the winery's cellar, resulting in a masterpiece!
This full-bodied wine stands out with a brilliant ruby-red color and possesses a complex and beautiful bouquet of dark forest fruits, with notes of violets, tobacco, and black truffle.
Its long finish pairs well with beef burgers, steaks, and venison.
